What is a digital camera

Digital camera is a device, which is a kind of cameras in which light-sensitive material is a matrix or multiple matrices, consisting of individual pixels, a signal which appears to be processed and stored on the device in digital form. In some cases, modern video recording equipment has the function of obtaining static images, but a significant proportion of devices known as digital cameras, is able to record video and audio and video output to TV format. Therefore, the boundary between the video and photographic equipment in the digital era to a degree relative and is determined more by what the problem poses an operator rather than to what the functional filling chamber. There are several types of digital cameras. Compact digital cameras are characterized by small size and weight. Small physical size of the matrix indicates a low sensitivity and high noise level. Also, this type of camera is usually distinguished by absence or lack of flexibility of manual exposure settings. Ultra-compact, miniature digital cameras differ not only in size but often lack the viewfinder and screen. Prints discount of these photos are good.

Pseudo-SLR digital cameras look similar to SLR. Image in the viewfinder of the device is formed on a single digital screen, or turning on the main screen. Typically, these cameras have the threads on the lens to attach nozzles and filters. Prints of these photos look professional. SLR uses to select the subject viewfinder optical system that includes a mirror that redirects the light flux from the lens into the eyepiece or on the frosted glass. Prints of these photos are very good quality and clear. SLR camera is more expensive. In these cells there is no mechanism for lifting the mirror and viewfinder uses a separate lens, mechanically linked with the main objective.
